BSCA Badminton Club was established in the 1970s and has been successfully running as a badminton club since then. It was originally part of Barnet South Community Association (hence the BSCA name) and played at their premises in Barnet. However, as the Badminton Club developed and expanded, it became BSCA and has played at a number of venues in or near to Barnet over the years. BSCA has always looked to mix strong competitive play within a sociable and fun atmosphere.
As well as the badminton, BSCA enjoys an active social life. Post-Club night drinks, usually at The Railway Bell in Barnet, are the norm. An annual trip to semi-finals day of the Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships at the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham is an established feature of the calendar. Plus, many other social events are enjoyed throughout the year.
BSCA welcomes new members of a good standard. Unfortunately, we're currently unable to take beginners.
